Legon Botanical Gardens to Close on October 30 After Years of Operation

 The Legon Botanical Gardens has announced its closure, scheduled for October 30, 2024, after years of providing recreation and adventure for visitors. 

Larbi Foundation seeks support from the larger community to help the needy  in society.

 

In a social media post, management of the  beautiful outdoor play space expressed gratitude for the memories created and the countless smiles brought to visitors over the years.

“We believe we have been able to put lots of smiles on countless faces all these years,” the post read.

The Gardens has been home to various exciting activities, including a high rope course, boat rides, canopy walks, scouting, playgrounds, and fishing, making it a popular destination for families, nature lovers, and adventure seekers.

The announcement also hinted that the journey is far from over, as the team plans to embark on new adventures focused on nature conservation and recreation. 

“Legon Botanical Gardens was a chapter, and we hope we were able to make you all enjoy the adventures we had,” the statement continued, reassuring the public that updates will be provided on future projects.

As the closure approaches, visitors are encouraged to make the most of the remaining days to experience the Gardens’ unique offerings one last time before this chapter comes to an end.
