Mahama Funds Personal Upkeep of 20+ Elderly Actors and Musicians Every 3 Months – Mr. Beautiful
Well-known Kumawood actor, Clement Bonney, otherwise known as Mr. Beautiful, has revealed that John Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), is currently supporting over 20 elderly actors and musicians.
In an interview with 3FM’s Blakk Rasta on Urban Blend on Friday, September 6, Mr. Beautiful averred that John Mahama personally allocates funds to these individuals every three months. He emphasized that Mahama not only provides financial assistance but also ensures that they maintain good health and overall well-being.
“As I am talking to you, we have more than 20 aged actors and musicians and every three months, President Mahama sends me to check how they are faring, their health conditions and I give them money for food. Those who are not well, we sent them to a hospital,” he said.

The renowned thespian also noted that while many actors have received individual support from Mahama, some have unfortunately “turned their backs” on him.
Mr. Beautiful has publicly endorsed the NDC, having declared his support for the party in 2016, and he has praised Mahama’s 24-hour economy initiative. He has maintained a close relationship with Mahama since 2016, sharing instances where he reached out to discuss the unfortunate circumstances surrounding the late highlife musician, K.K. Kabobo.
