Mr Ibu Returns Home After Months of Being Hospitalized

Celebrated Nollywood icon, John Okafor, professionally known as Mr. Ibu, has returned home after months of battling severe health issues at medical centers.

Last year, the news of Mr Ibu’s hospitalization had sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry and among his legion of fans who were deeply concerned about his well-being. He was admitted as well as transferred from one medical facility to another for an ailment that kept him away from the spotlight for a long period. 

However, the recent announcement of his return home by Ken Erics, his colleague in the movie industry has brought immense relief to his admirers and the entire Nollywood community.

Ken melted many people’s hearts after sharing a video of his visit to the legendary actor. He posted a video of himself paying respect to Mr Ibu on his official Instagram page on Sunday, January 21, 2024.

Ken wrote in his description that the purpose of the video was to make the fans and lovers of the actor smile.

“Happy Sunday lovelies. Something to brighten your day @realmribu”, he captioned.

Many flooded his comment section with heartfelt messages praising the light-skinned actor for paying a visit to him.

During Mr Ibu’s hospitalization, fans flooded social media with messages of support and prayers for the beloved actor.
