In an interview on Hitz 103.9 FM’s Day Break Hitz with Andy Dosty, Nacee revealed that when he was diagnosed, his doctor predicted he wouldn’t live to see 20 years. Nacee, now almost 50, noted that the doctor, Dr. Bechem, has since passed away at an advanced age. “I’m not saying God has punished him; he was old. He was over 70. May his soul rest in peace. He was very wonderful and is the one God used to save my life,” Nacee stated.

Nacee further narrated the challenges he faced living with sickle cell disease and expressed gratitude for God’s intervention in his life.
