Nhyiraba Kojo Sentenced To 30 Days In jail For contempt
Ghanaian Hiplife artiste who doubles as the owner of NK City Nightclub, Rashid Joseph, well known as Nkyiraba Kojo, has been sentenced to 30 days in jail by a high court in Secondi for contempt of court.https://youtu.be/nl6DmpUNx0k
The ‘Turn around’ hitmaker was found guilty of contempt by the Secondi High court and was ordered to serve the full 30-day sentence unless he can purge himself of the contempt.
Justice Sedina Agbemava who imposed the 30-day sentence divulged that musician, failed to comply with an interlocutory injunction order to stop noise pollution from his nightclub and install soundproofing.
According to Citi News, the case was filed by three residents of Fijai who complained about the noise emanating from the nightclub.
Despite the court order, Nhyiraba Kojo failed to comply, leading to his sentencing.
