Nigeria when?- Sean Kuti reacts to the legalisation of Cannabis in Ghana for industrial purposes
Nigerian singer, Sean Kuti, has reacted to news of the legalisation of Cannabis in Ghana for medical and industrial purposes.
The popular son of legendary Fela Kuti took to his Insta story to share a story link of the news of the legalisation of cannabis in Ghana, while chiding his own country Nigeria for failing to follow suit.
“Nigeria when o!!! Na only to share jeep Una wabi? Very soon na only us go dey play catch up for Africa,” he wrote in Pidgin English.
In December, 2023, the parliament of Ghana approved the Narcotics Control Commission Regulations 2023, officially legalising the production of Cannabis for industrial purposes.
This move will allow the nation grab a share of the multi-billion dollar global industry.
