While speaking on the UTV’s United Showbiz on Saturday, October 12, 2024, Arnold pointed out that conflicting prophecies from certain prophets damage trust and respect for Christianity.

He further argued that addressing prophets whose predictions do not come true could help diminish false revelations that might lead to social unrest.

“I think it’s high time if a prophet makes a declaration and it does not manifest, we should call him out. If you remember when the Ghana Police Service issued a directive for pastors not to make any declaration on 31st December?

“If the police service is able to do the same on these pastors, I also think it will reduce contradictory prophecies,” he said.

Arnold’s remarks come in response to recent prophecies from various pastors, including Rev. Owusu-Bempah, who predicted Mahama’s victory in the forthcoming 2024 election.
