Pheebz debuts with Afro-Soul Single
Rising Ghanaian singer, Pheebz has released her official debut single dubbed “233.”
The eagerly awaited song is an appealing love ballad that delves into the depths of a passionate and adorable love. The singer shines her vulnerability on the song and avows about a love she has never experienced.
With its infectious afro vibe, “233” is irresistibly captivating and interspersed with exaggerated feelings. Disclosing the motivation for the song’s lyrics, she told Amplify Ghana that “exaggerated feelings wrote this song.”
After years of providing backup vocals for other artists, Pheebz believes this is the perfect time to share her story and unique sound with the rest of the world. Her sound wields unfiltered emotions that resonate and easily creates an authentic bond with her audience. On her debut song, she lets loose these emotions to captivate the listener with her soulful, sometimes robotic voice, as she describes it.
Heavily inspired by the likes of Rihanna, Tems, Sia, Adele, Justin Bieber, and Lana Del Rey, Pheebz has kick started her own musical journey and set to leave a mark on the global music scene with genre-blending sounds.
