<![CDATA[The Juliet Ibrahim Foundation took to the streets of Accra on a kidney awareness walk on March 14 to commemorate World Kidney Day. The day is set aside globally to raise awareness of the importance of our kidneys to our overall health and to reduce the frequency and impact of kidney diseases and its associated health problems worldwide. Led by actress, Juliet Ibrahim, the walk started from Obra Spot, Circle and ended in Osu, Ako Adjei Park.
The Juliet Ibrahim Foundation seeks to reduce harm caused by kidney cancer and other related diseases by increasing knowledge and awareness, providing patient information and by supporting research into the causes, prevention and treatment of the disease.
