Nigerian socialites Oluwaseun Awolowo and Akintoye Bode-Kayode have had a chic white wedding ceremony at the Chateau de Vallery.

Oluwaseun Awolowo is the granddaughter of Nigerian fashion icon, Abbah Folawiyo’s granddaughter. She is the first daughter of Prince Segun Awolowo, the Executive Director/CEO, Nigerian Exports Promotion Council and first grandson of the great Sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo.

‘Seun’ holds a degree in Politics and International Studies from Warwick University. She is a motivational speaker and runs an NGO.

The groom, Akintoye is the son of late Olabode Kayode. His mother, Osayomwanbo ‘Bobo’ Bode-Kayode, Nee Giwa-Osagie, died last December. Toye is an account manager with SmartTransit USA. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Reading.

Their wedding in France follows their grand traditional wedding that took place in Lagos in April. 

The Chateau de Vallery is a luxurious wedding venue set in a Renaissance chateau with grand decor and surrounded by parkland. According to TripAdvisor  booking starts from  $11,115 per night.
