<![CDATA[Nkuli (The Masked), a Ghanaian movie addressing  HIV/Aids has been premiered in Accra pulling an impressive crowd including former president of Ghana, Jerry John Rawlings. The premiere which was attended by cast and crew including Nana Akua Addo , James Gardiiner, Pauline Oduro, Bismark Odoi and others also saw the Deputy High Commissioner of Zambia in attendance. Nkuli (The Masked) tells the story of a young Nkuli (played by Nana Akua Addo) and her two siblings, Kwame (played by James Gardner) and Gye Nyame (played by Lisa Asor Awuku), who had to face the harsh realities of life after the untimely death of their parents.They found themselves in the care of a wicked aunt (played by Paulina Oduro) who ushered Nkuli into prostitution, as a means of generating income for the family’s upkeep. Nkuli got infected with the HIV virus leading to plethora of challenges for herself and the family. The movie was directed by Phil Bernard Hau of Kadewe Films ]]>
