PHOTOS: Toyota Ghana Opens New Head office and Motorway Branch

Toyota Ghana company Limited, the sole authorized distributor of Toyota vehicles and genuine spare part in Ghana, commissioned its new ultra – modern head office complex along the Accra Tema motorway. As the no. 1 authorized automobile dealer in Ghana currently, this new facility brings to 5 the number of service workshops operated by the company.

The new head office will also serve as an autonomous branch, offering all the 3S operations namely, Sale of vehicles, Spare Parts and Service

60-seater Service Reception

With a state-of-the-art service equipment and a 60-seater service customer reception to ease congestion, the facility can admit 110 vehicles for periodic maintenance and general repairs per day. For efficiency, the workshop operates through 40 bays with six dedicated for express maintenance where customers can receive their serviced vehicles within an hour. The complex also houses a premium showroom with a good ambience for customers comfort.

Other amenities found within the building includes, a clinic, a gym, 100-seater conference room and a terrace canteen with a customer lounge overseeing the workshop.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Minister of Trade and Industry, Mr. Alan Kojo Kyerematen, who was the special guest for the occasion, commended management and staff of Toyota Ghana for their effort to construct a New Head Office. He stated that, the government is currently working on a policy that will create an enabling environment to encourage Original Equipment Manufacturers such as Toyota, to establish assembly plants in Ghana.

Delivering the welcome address, the Managing Director of Toyota Ghana, MrTakuya Kajiura, said the event was a manifestation of the company’s bold expression of its “customer first”philosophy. In fulfillment of this vision, the company took a strategic decision to further expand her operations to the very doorstep of customers through network expansion.

In support of the MD’s statement, the Executive Director of Marubeni Corporation the parent company of Toyota Ghana, Mr. Jiro Itai, said the structure could best be described as a citadel of automobile innovation with all the sophisticated technologies that were considered in the design and construction of the building.

In attendance were the Japanese Ambassador to Ghana, H.E. Tsutomu Himeno, The Vice Chancellor of University of Ghana, Professor Ebenezer Oduro and the General Manager of Toyota Tsusho Corporation, Africa Division Mr. Shinichiro Otsuka and other dignitaries.
