Prince David Osei thanks “haters” after backlash on Twitter

Ghanaian actor, Prince David Osei has thanked his haters for making him the number one on Twitter trends.

Prince became the subject of Twitter conversations on Monday, October 10 after his threat to stage a demonstration if the President doesn’t turn the economic situation in the country around by December.

After his lengthy note on Instagram to the President, some Twitter users called him a “hypocrite” and reminded of the time he was against the #FixTheCountry campaign which was also targeted at drawing the Presidency’s attention to the social, economic and infrastructure hardships in the country.

The backlash on Twitter pushed Prince to the number one spot on trends.

Reacting to it, Prince stated that he was thankful for making the trends because it shows people were listening and paying attention to his demo threat.

He also thanked his “haters” for the backlash he has faced on the social media app.

“Thank You Ghana for making me no 1 trend on twitter, this shows, you guys are really listening and paying attention.. I speak to the issues that’s all, I am NPP just as others are NDC and other parties, but that doesn’t mean I will keep quiet when things are going bad in the country,” he wrote on Instagram. 
“I stood on political platforms to campaign for NPP.. If someone doesn’t get the drift then I am sorry, I can’t help you! I wish to push the agenda of a better Ghana for all irrespective of party lines, so help me God!! Lastly, thank you Haters and those insulting me, bringing back my campaign videos and pictures, I no vex it is part of the game, I love you all. Please keep trolls coming so we maintain no 1 on Twitter 😀😀😀🇬🇭,” he added.
