Quavo and Offset reunite to pay tribute to Takeoff at the BET Awards
Quavo and Offset gave their first joint performance after years of parting ways as part of paying homage to Takeoff at the BET Awards on Sunday,
The trio joined together to become the well-known hip-hop group Migos, however they broke up in 2021. In November 2022, Takeoff was tragically murdered at a private party in Houston, Texas.
The song “Hotel Lobby,” performed by Quavo and Offset as part of their tribute, started playing while a picture of Takeoff was displayed on the screen behind them.
They then gave a rendition of their 2016 hit, “Bad and Boujee.”
On social media, both Quavo and Offset, posted pictures and videos from their performance. The two were said to have been separated since Migos split up two years ago, so their reunion was noteworthy.
Weeks before Takeoff was assassinated, the combo “Unc & Phew” had just formed, their debut album, “Only Built for Infinity Links,” published.
