Ras Kuuku claims his verse was removed from Kofi Kinaata’s “Efiekuma Love”, vows never to collaborate with him again

In a recent interview on Hitz 103.9fm, Ras Kuuku declared his decision to never collaborate with Kofi Kinaata, revealing how his verse was removed from ‘Effiakuma Love.’

Recounting the incident, Kuuku stated, “I was on, I did my verse on that song,” expressing confusion over its removal, stating, “I don’t know” when asked why.

Kuuku shared that he recorded his verse in 2020, only for Kinaata to re-record the song after hearing it.

Despite feeling concerned about his verse’s absence in the final release, Kuuku maintained a composure, noting, “I don’t have any issue with him.” However, he affirmed his stance not to collaborate with Kinaata again on any future projects.

Meanwhile, Kofi Kinaata’s “Efiekuma Love” has been nominated for the Reggae/Dancehall Song of the Year at the 2024 TGMAs.
