R&B / Hip-Hop musicians from Seoul: Colde & MKIT RAIN showcasing at SXSW 2019

Presented by Passport Seoul, South Korean Hip-Hop/R&B singer-songwriter, Colde and LA-based South Korean Hip-Hop label MKIT RAIN (Loopy, nafla, niahn, DJ FLOJEE) are heading to Austin, Texas to be part of the prestigious Music Festival, SXSW 2019. The stage is brought by ERR;OR NYC, a rising fashion brand based in NYC, starting at 8PM CST on March 15th at Cheer Up Charlie’s (900 Red River St.).

Colde is known as a part of award-winning Lo-fi/PBR&B duo offonoff. Last year, Colde released his first live of single  ‘시 (Shhh)’ through “A COLORS SHOW” – famous YouTube platform known for its unique aesthetic and extraordinary music selection – as the second Asian artist ever featured on the channel. Distinguished from offonoff, Colde’s take on different genre has broaden his musical spectrum as well as fan base, while boasting his signature hazy voice. 
The last runner of the stage, MKIT RAIN RECORDS, is most well-known for its two competition-winning artists, nafla & Loopy, who won at the South Korea’s biggest Hip-Hop competition TV show <SHOW ME THE MONEY 777> by Mnet, as the final winner and the first runner-up respectively. With the recent addition of a new member, MKIT RAIN RECORDS is now comprised of six Hip-Hop artists and a DJ – Loopy, nafla, BLOO, Owen Ovadoz, Young West, niahn and DJ FLOJEE. Among those, four members will be in Austin for the showcase. 
The force behind the two rising stars, PASSPORT SEOUL, is a Seoul-based artist agency that provides guidance to talented Korean artists for their global expansion and independent success.
