Rihanna declares Davido’s ‘Unavailable’ as her song of the year
Barbadian singer-songwriter Rihanna has revealed that ‘Unavailable,’ the chart-topping track by Nigerian Afrobeats star Davido and South African singer Musa Keys, holds the coveted title of her ‘Song of the Year.’
During a sideline interview with Complex at a recent Fenty event, Rihanna, a billionaire pop mogul, bypassed the ‘Album of the Year’ category, stating she’s more of a ‘streaming single girl.’ She enthusiastically expressed her affinity for ‘Unavailable’ and ‘Mnike’ by Tyler ICU and Tumelo, declaring them her joint songs of the year.
“Album of the year? Am I an album girl? Or am I a streaming single girl? ‘Unavailable’ [by Davido featuring Musa Keys] on repeat. That and ‘Mnike’ [by Tyler ICU and Tumelo] are my song of the year.” She said.
