Rihanna is bringing a special performance of “Lift Me Up” to the 2023 Oscars
Nine-time Grammy winner, Rihanna is continuing to make her musical comeback on her terms.
The pop superstar will take the stage at the 2023 Academy Awards to perform “Lift Me Up,” her Oscar-nominated song from “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” live for the first time.
The 95th Academy Awards ceremony will be broadcast on 12 March, 2023 and hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.
The music superstar is scheduled to perform ‘Lift Me Up’ during the biggest night in Hollywood.
The song, created with Tems, Ryan Coogler and Ludwig Göransson, was featured on the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack.

It has been nominated for best original song, marking Rihanna’s first Oscar nod.
Rihanna stunned Super Bowl audiences earlier this month with a soaring solo half-time performance in which she made her second pregnancy with rapper A$AP Rocky public.
The 13-minute performance was eagerly anticipated by Rihanna’s fans, many of whom hadn’t seen her perform since she appeared on stage at the 2018 Grammy Awards with DJ Khaled to perform “Wild Thoughts.”
Rihanna has recently taken a sabbatical from music to concentrate on her commercial endeavours, including her Savage X Fenty lingerie line and Fenty Beauty cosmetics line.
“Lift Me Up” marks the first solo song Rihanna has recorded since her last album, ANTI, which was released in 2016.
