#Amazeafrica is a premium platform that was created to showcase Africa’s immense creative fashion and design talent during the Africa Fashion Week in 2013. It has evolved and this year it celebrates creativity in photography across Africa. As part of the transformation, an instameet was held in Accra for photographers and ‘instagrammers’ to meet for a photo walk through Accra, to bring the city alive for all to see via #Amazeafrica. Several well-known Ghanaian photographers including Rodney Quarcoo, Nana Asihene, Ghanyobi, Steven Adusei and more took part in the fun experience, ditching their DSLRs for their phones. Well, I decided not to take part so I wouldn’t embarrass the professional photographers…Laugh out loud. Check out some of the photos that came out through the exercise!
