Sarkodie announces date for his 5th album ‘The Highest’… check out the big collabos!
Sarkodie has finally announced the release of his fifth studio album The Highest, due for release September 8. Titled and consisting 18 songs, it features collaborations with continental heavyweights as Jesse jags, Jayso,Praiz, Victoria Kimani, Yung L, and Joey B. Titled and consisting 18 songs, it features collaborations with continental heavyweights as Jesse jags, Jayso,Praiz, Victoria Kimani, Yung L, and Joey B.
The record, set for release on September 8, follows Makye (2009), Rapperholic (2012), Sarkology (2014), Mary (2015), as well as the joint album TMG with producer Jayso in 2013.
The BET laureate (born Michael Owusu Addo) has also lined up a series of dates in Europe and the US in honour of the album. Sarkodie is CEO of his independent imprint SarkCess Music, which is also home to singer Akwaboah, and fellow rap act Strongman.
