Ghanaian rap icon, Sarkodie, recently expressed deep admiration for renowned music producer Da’ Hammer.

Reacting to a shared video showcasing highlights from D’ Hammer’s appearance on Nana Ama Mcbrown’s Onua TV show, where the DJ played a curated compilation of Hammer’s chart-topping hits, Sarkodie wrote, “Got tears in my eyes Dahammer bless you !!! You need to be celebrated in grand style.”

Da’ Hammer, who has contributed to the growth of many top Ghanaian artistes, recently announced his departure from his role as Managing Partner and Head of Sales/Marketing at A1 Bread to rekindle his first love—music production.

The revelation came via his Facebook page, where he shared insights into his upcoming compilation album, ‘Upper Echelon,’ set for an early 2024 release.

The album promises a fusion of the new and old school, featuring both emerging talents and seasoned artists. Da Hammer expressed gratitude to A1 Bread for accepting his resignation, emphasizing that his decision won’t affect his position as an equity stakeholder in the company.
