Sarkodie & Joey B scold Sammy Gyamfi over insensitive cartoon

Yesterday, the National Communications Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress, Sammy Gyamfi came under fire for politicising a cartoon that depicted the murder of George Floyd in a bid to express their grievances against the new voter’s Register.

The purpose of the cartoon, which depicted Ghana’s Electoral Commissioner, Jean Mensah, and President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo choking Ghanaians with a new voter register backfired immediately it was shared on various social media platforms.

Sammy Gyamfi has since been accused for being too insensitive and inhumane.

Reacting to the post on Social media, Ghana’s finest rapper, Sarkodie asked Sammy Gyamfi to take the post down.

“Naa my brother we all go wrong sometimes… I will believe your intention wasn’t to joke with these serious n very sensitive issues, but you still wrong just do what’s right…. retract n take it down,” he tweeted.

Rapper Joey B was not left out of the conversation as he also asked Sammy Gyamfi to delete the post.

“Big man, its ok. just delete it,” he also tweeted
