Shatta Wale claims he was paid £80,000 for Ghana Music Awards, UK performance
“Dancehall King” Shatta Wale has revealed he was paid a whopping £80,000 f0r his performance at the just ended Ghana Music Awards, UK.
The “On God” hitmaker made this revelation via a Twitter post on Sunday, October 8.
“Thank you London #GMAUK You did what Ghana music in Ghana couldn’t do 80k pounds for performance Artiste of the year 2023 (Icing on the cake) Shatta Wale is a London boy now !!!” he tweeted.

Shatta Wale was also crowned “Artiste of the Year” at the award ceremony, beating the likes of Black Sherif, Stonebwoy and Sarkodie to win the award.
He also won big in the other four categories he was nominated in.
