This September, Channel O brings DStv viewers yet another exclusive in the form of Snoop Dogg’s original movie MALICE N WONDERLAND. The mini-movie was created by the hip hop icon and creative chairman of priority records to accompany the release of his late 2009 album of the same name.

In the 40 minute long film – MALICE N WONDERLAND THE MOVIE – the safety of the city is up to a super hero character who fights crime and strives to bring peace back to his neighbourhood. Music from the accompanying album is featured throughout. Cameos in the action packed flick include Jamie Foxx, Xzibit, Nipsey Hussle and many more.

Channel O will be the first television channel in Africa to air MALICE N WONDERLAND the movie on Sunday September 12 at 23:00 CAT. In the build-up to this exclusive, the channel will air a behind-the-scenes look at the making of Snoop’s short movie on the same day at 19:00 CAT, followed by a specialised Xpress at 23:30 CAT after the movie featuring some of the Long Beach, California rapper’s biggest hits.

Already Snoop fans have gotten a first glimpse at what’s in store when MALICE N WONDERLAND airs with the music videos that the rapper created for the release of Malice N Wonderland, his 10th studio album. These include I Wanna Rock and Pronto featuring Soulja Boy. The album itself features a host of producers including The Dream, longtime mentor and collaborator Dr. Dre, Pharrell, Danja, Lil Jon as well as R. Kelly.

As a true global superstar with over 30 million albums sold worldwide and countless awards in his 17 year-plus music career, Snoop has amassed a legion of diehard fans, including many here in Africa who won’t want to miss Channel O’s exclusive screening of MALICE N WONDERLAND.
