Oye Akideinde’s experience has been primarily in consumer goods, eBusiness, financial, media and digital sectors.
With demonstrated initiative and creativity, he has been successful in IT, project management, strategy, product and business development, marketing, giving him a vast set of skills. He holds a master’s degree in Business Information Systems from the University of Hertfordshire and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Lagos and he is also member of the Project Management Institute.
In his current capacity as the General Manager of Music Services for the MTN Group and appointed CEO for MusicTime, Simfy Africa – a company MTN acquired, Oye is responsible for strategically developing and managing key relationships in the continent to fulfill the firm’s vision of becoming Africa’s premier digital distribution company.
As at the time of this interview, Oye Akindeinde was the Regional Director, West Africa at Boomplay Music.
