TGMA 2024: My song ‘Truth’ is the best written song in the Songwriter of the Year category – DSL
Ghanaian Reggae/dancehall artist Lawrence Senyo Adase known in the music circles as DSL has stated that his song titled “Truth” is the best written song in the Telecel Ghana Music Awards Category(TGMA).
Speaking on the Afternoon Show on TV3, the Lynx signee said “The songwriter of the year, I’m very keen on that one. I put in a lot of work in that one and I believe strongly that’s the best written song in that Category.”
In the Telecel Ghana Music Awards(TGMA) category for songwriter of the year, DSL contends with Perez Musik, Fameye, Akwaboah, Stonebwoy, and Sarkodie for the prestigious award.
While acknowledging the presence of top-notch artistes in the category, he remains steadfast in his belief of winning the Songwriter of the Year award.
DSL, who secured the Unsung Artiste award at last year’s Ghana Music Awards, is nominated in three categories this year: Reggae Dancehall Song of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, and New Artiste of the Year.
