According to the Founder of the Nineteen57 fashion company, the individuals who appeared on the red carpet could have presented themselves better.

“In my opinion, the performers on the night brought their A-game. However, the red carpet was disappointing. When we observe events that take place on the African continent, particularly in South Africa and Nigeria, we see better fashion choices. We should keep things simple, especially for the men. Just wear a simple black suit and add a touch of color, perhaps in line with the red-themed event. In their attempt to outdo themselves, they end up under-doing themselves.”

In an interview on Joy FM’s Showbiz A-Z with Kwame Dadzie, the fashion god emphasized that there are already many successful fashion choices out there, so there is no need to reinvent the wheel. Kofi Okyere Darko, who was one of the hosts during the early stages of the event, also evaluated the quality of the emceeing on the night.

He mentioned that there were experienced individuals who had previously hosted similar events, such as Naa Ashorkor. Chris, who took a break from hosting live shows, was also anticipated. Kofi Okyere Darko rated Chris a 7 out of 10 and noted that the only aspect he found lacking was their introduction, which was a bit shaky but improved as the night progressed.

“I think we had timeless people who were not on the stage for the first time. Naa Ashorkor has done this maybe for three times. Chris took a break off hosting live shows. I was looking forward to seeing him. On a scale of 0-10 I will give Chris maybe like 7. They only place I didn’t seem to get was their intro. They had a bit of a shaky intro but they picked up,” he said.
