The head pastor and founder of Action Chapel International, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, recently recounted his experiences as a young pastor.

In a video sighted by Ameyaw Debrah Media, the renowned Man of God mentioned that during his early days of preaching, he felt empowered by the spiritual manifestations and exorcisms he performed.

Despite initially taking credit for these miracles, he later realized that it was the name and presence of Jesus that enabled such occurrences.
“I remember when it began [ ministry]. Most of the time, some of the bishops would tell you, there will be all kinds of manifestations in the church. Demons will be screaming and shouting.
“When I was a young preacher, I used to feel very good about that. I used to feel Charlie I’m powerful. You see how the demons are reacting and crying and I will say ushers carry them and bring them, run and I used to feel very powerful until the Lord dealt with me and I realized that hey hey hey it is not because of your anointing, it is the name of Jesus, it is the presence of Jesus,”
In a sermon to his congregation on Sunday, May 26, 2024, the Archbishop emphasized the importance of divine intervention and humbly asked for forgiveness for any prideful actions.
“And there are little things that we take credit for and its prideful, but we don’t even know it. May God forgive us,” he added.
