Award-winning Ghanaian reggae and dancehall artiste, Samini has said that he’s not ready to give up the stage just yet to vie for the position of president of Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA).

According to the “Obaa” hitmaker, he’s too young to be the next president of the union.

“I think I’m too young for that. In Obour’s case, I think he had done what he needed to do on stage and he was ready to give up the stage for office, I think the stage needs me more than the office at the moment,” Samini said in an interview on Class FM on Thurday, March 14.

Samini, also touched on reports that his protege, Kofi Kinaata had left his High Grade record label saying that “Kofi Kinaata did not leave High Grade”.
