‘These Are My Dreams Coming True’ – Pappy Kojo Expresses Joy Over Collaborations with KK Fosu and Mzbel

Ghanaian rapper Pappy Kojo, born Jason Gaisei has shared his excitement about working with Hiplife legends KK Fosu and Mzbel on his latest musical project.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Zeal Nana Kweku Bliss on Class Xtra, Class 91.3 FM, Pappy Kojo expressed deep admiration for KK Fosu, describing him as incredibly humble.

“You have no idea. KK is like the most humble guy ever,” he said, clearly in awe of the iconic Hiplife artist. Struggling to find words that fully capture his admiration, he added, “I appreciate KK so much. Honestly, these are my dreams (coming true). And this is something I’ll have forever. I’m really, really grateful.”

The rapper, best known for his hit song ‘Ay3 late”, revealed that having KK Fosu featured on his track gave him an overwhelming sense of pride. “I have no regard for anyone anymore. I have a song with KK Fosu. Who are you?” he remarked, highlighting how much the collaboration means to him.

In addition to KK Fosu, the artist also featured another Hiplife icon, Mzbel, on his new extended play (EP) titled Millennium 2000. He expressed his excitement about the collaboration, acknowledging Mzbel’s influence on Ghana’s music scene.

“You know when it comes to the baddies, Mzbel is like the first one. She paved the way for every baddie in Ghana. Working with her was excellent,” he said.

Mzbel, known for challenging societal norms through her music and bold fashion choices, was recently recognized as one of the top 10 essential acts in Ghana’s Hiplife revolution by Grammy.com, further cementing her status as a trailblazer in the industry.

Pappy Kojo’s Millennium 2000 EP is set to bring together old-school and contemporary vibes, offering fans a blend of iconic and fresh sounds.
