Tragedy Strikes Aburi Girls Senior High as Headmistress Cynthia Anim Passes Away

The Aburi Girls Senior High School (SHS) in the Eastern Region is grieving the sudden loss of its Headmistress, Cynthia Anim.

Her passing occurred while she was in Rome, Italy, participating in an educational workshop with the Deputy Minister of Education of Ghana, other school heads, and selected students.

Cynthia Anim was a committed educator who dedicated her career to enhancing secondary education in Ghana. She was attending an international workshop aimed at raising educational standards when the tragic event took place.

Rev. E.A. Asiedu, the Chairman of the school’s Board of Governors, expressed the sorrow felt by the entire school community. He characterized Mrs. Anim as a passionate leader whose vision significantly advanced Aburi Girls SHS’s academic excellence.

“With the sure hope of the resurrection, we regret to inform honourable members of the sad and distressing news of the passing of our Headmistress, Mrs. Cynthia Anim. We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family and the entire Aburi Girls Senior High School community,” he stated.
