VIP member, Lazy changes name to Zeal!

<![CDATA[Name changes have become common in showbiz and the latest to join the trend is Lazy, one-third member of the Ghanaian hiplife group, VIP. He has announced that he is changing his showbiz name to Zeal, years after over a decade of using the moniker. According to reports the rapper wants a new identity and has explained that there is nothing wrong with a person changing his/her name.  Born Abdul Hamid Ibrahim, the artist formerly known as Lazy is a key member of VIP, which also include  Promzy (Emmanuel Ababio) and Prodigal (Joseph Nana Ofori). The group released its first album in 1998 titled, ‘Bibi Baa O’. Since then, it has become the most popular Hip life group in Ghana. Currently, the group’s new singles ‘Follow Me’, ‘Which Kind Yawa Be Dis’ and ‘Pampanaa’, off its new ‘7/11’ album, are enjoying massive airplay.]]>
