WATCH: Huawei Nova 5T officially launched in Ghana

The Huawei Nova 5T has finally arrived in Ghana.The Kirin 980 based smartphone was officially launched at the Huawei Ghana head office in Accra, with a retail price of GHC1,888. 

Huawei’s Nova 5T comes in three vibrant colours; Crush Blue, Midsummer Purple, and Black.The phone features an all-front display and a hole punch front-facing camera (32MP f/2.0 unit with 0.8 micron pixels) in the top left corner.

The device comes with rear 4-cameras; the main camera is a 48MP f/1.4 aperture sensor with 0.8 micron pixels, PDAF, Laser Auto-Focus, and OIS. The secondary camera is an 16MP f/2.2 ultrawide camera, with a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor and a 2MP 27mm dedicated macro camera.

The phone’s AI-powered Super Night mode ensures “blur-free” footages in low-light conditions.

The Macro lens allows the user to focus on objects as close as 4cm while the 48 MP main back camera features a Sony ½-inch CMOS sensor that makes the Nova 5T an extremely proficient photographic tool in capturing moments in vivid detail.

The camera also sports professional bokeh effects and features the all-new AI Portrait Colour that gives off a more cinematic feel to your pictures.

Designed specifically for the increasing trend of vlogging, the Huawei Nova 5T and the EMUI 9.1 has brought in the new effect of Huawei Vlog, through which the user can enhance their videos and create a vlogger-worthy video.

The display is a 6.26-inch 2340×1080 LCD (IPS) screen that wraps around the edges of the phone to create more of a full-screen look.

For pre-orders, Huawei will be giving customers gifts worth GHC 899. These include Huawei Band 4, Bluetooth headset and a huawei Nova Gift Box. The phone also comes with a six months warranty extension.
