Popular Nigerian preacher and televangelist , Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, the founder of Christ Embassy, has addressed the fire incident at the church’s headquarters during a live Sunday service.
He viewed this unfortunate event as an opportunity for growth and expansion, rather than an accident.
During his sermon, the esteemed Man Of God drew a comparison to a previous incident in 2001, where the building withstood a bombing and was deemed structurally sound. This served as a testament to the resilience of the church.
In light of the recent fire, Pastor Chris expressed his determination to construct an even more magnificent structure, firmly declaring that the forces of evil will be overcome. Thankfully, there were no casualties in the fire, and the Lagos Fire Service promptly responded to contain the situation.
