Wines Of South Africa opens Sommelier World Cup competition to Ghanaians

Wines of South Africa once again is offering a fantastic opportunity for WINE Connoisseurs and Wine lovers and industry workers the first ever opportunity to compete in the Prestigious SOMMELIER WORLD CUP in South Africa.

This opportunity to participate in WOSA SOMMERLIER World Cup is open to all Hospitality Industry/service workers (Hotels, WINE Bars/Lounges, Restaurants and Pubs working in Ghana beginning March 15 2016 and ends on June 30 2016.

All successful applications will be reviewed and called for the Grand Finale event on July 18 2016 at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra.

The eventual winner in Ghana as the BEST SOMMELIER will receive an all-expense paid trip to Cape Town, South Africa to represent Ghana at the SOMMELIER WORLD CUP in September 2016.

This event is a continuation of Wines of South Africa recognition of Ghana as a competitive market over the years for South African Wines therefore investing and committing a lot of resources in growing the Wines of South Africa brands in Ghana.

WOSA hopes this event will explore and offer more opportunities for residents of Ghana working in the Hospitality and service industry to showcase their knowledge and talent in the prestigious WINE Industry and hopefully entrench the lifestyle culture of Wine beyond the traditional markets.
