Wode Maya marries longtime girlfriend on her mom’s death anniversary
Popular Ghanaian YouTuber, Berthold Kobby Winkler Ackon, popularly known as Wode Maya has officially tied the knot with his longtime Kenyan girlfriend, Trudy.
Wode Maya and Trudy had been dating for a while now, but he decided to make it official by getting married on the anniversary of Trudy’s mom’s death.
According to Wode Maya, they got hitched on the 1oth of September, a day which marks 13 years since Trudy lost her mom.
Wode says he understands how emotional the 10th of September is to Trudy, hence, his desire to make it special for her.
In the long YouTube video which captured all the moments from their wedding, Wode is heard saying to Trudy at their vow recital;
“Whether rain or shine, whether the storm comes, you’ll forever be my lovely wife. In the name of the father, and of the son and of the Holy Spirit.”
The wedding is not your normal wedding, Wode Maya got dressed at the back of his car while on his way to his girlfriend’s hometown in Kenya.
Wode Maya believes their union will unite the whole of Africa.
