Here is a list of those events that can give you an experience of a lifetime this December and some good reasons to attend them.

1. AFRONATION

Bringing together the global African community from 27th-30th December, Afro Nation Ghana follows on from the hugely successful European editions.

Celebrating all things afrobeats, hip-hop, UK rap, reggae and dancehall, the party on the country’s golden sands will see partygoers enjoy celebrations across Ghana’s sun-soaked coastline, surrounded by beach bars and beautiful lagoons. 2. AFROCHELLA

AFROCHELLA is that event most people are looking forward to this Christmas and so should you. The festival is designed to highlight & elevate thrilling and thriving millennial talent from and within Africa. It is an interactive event that encourages collaboration, explains and explores culture with a pioneering approach.

Happening on the 28th December at the El Wak Sports Stadium, the day features a festive celebration of culture in the form of: Art & Fashion Installations, Live painting, The Best of African Cuisine, Live performances. and so much fun.

3. RAPPERHOLIC #TheUnstoppableEdition

Rapperholic 2019, Unstoppable Edition will come off at the Arena, inside Accra International Conference Center on the 25th of December 2019 and with BET award-winning rapper, Sarkodie as the headline act, the event promises to be nothing but spectacular and entertaining.

Although artistes billed to perform have not been revealed yet, organizers have promised that fans will be pleasantly surprised at the line-up when it is officially released. Following the success of previous editions of the event, it was no surprise that there was a mad rush for tickets when they were released last month.

4. DETTY RAVE #THEHOMECOMING

Are you ready to really ‘DETTY’ yourself this December? Mr Eazi and his ‘DETTY SQUAD’ are shutting down Accra on the 27th December with DETTY RAVE 3.

I personally experience DETTY RAVE 2 last year, it was worth the anticipation and I can’t wait for this years’ event.

With a performing lineup that includes South Arica’s Busiswa, Jamaica’s Kranium and Koffee, Simi, Joeboy, Darkovibes, Joey B, King Promise, Kuami Eugene, Kidi and oh Mr Eazi himself!! The DJs are also a wild mix from all over Africa and include, DJ Cuppy, iPhone DJ, DJ Aroma, DJ Neptune and more.

5. TINA FESTIVAL

TINA FESTIVAL is the last event on the ‘chilling calendar’ of December and the first official party to kick start the New Year. But it was so good the last time I experienced it that I have managed to push it up this list lol. Don’t spend all your money in December because you definitely have to go enjoy FUSE ODG’s TINAFEST 2020.

6. LIVESPOT X FESTIVAL WITH CARDI B

Carbi B is coming to Ghana………OKUUUUUUUUUURRR!!!!!!!!!!

The Livespot X Festival with Cardi B is the first official event to kick start the December festivities. It is the ultimate Christmas present for Cardi B fans like myself in Ghana. Livespot X is bringing the ‘BODAK YELLOW’ hitmaker to Accra for the Livespot X Festival (LXF) 2019 on 8th December at the Accra Sports Stadium.

7. MANIFESTIVITIES 2019

Manifestivities is back!!!!!!!!!! After a successful event last year, Manifest and his friends have promised another event which will be spectacular.

Manifestivities was widely regarded as the one of the safest, well organized and most successful Christmas event last year, parading a sterling roster including Simi, Kwesi Arthur, Worlasi, B4bonah, Efya, King Promise, Trigmatic, Sarkodie, and Burna Boy.

This year’s edition is scheduled for December 22 and will be at the Bukom Arena.

8. PINExGINJA

What’s the Year of Return without Jamaicans!? PINEXGINJA II The Bashment Edition will be the baddest Jamaican party and ultimate fresh experience on 24 December 2019.

9. STONEBWOY BHIM CONCERT

Tamale and its neighboring cities this one is for you! It seemed all the events and fun was concentrated in Accra so it was such a relief when Stonebwoy announced that the 4th edition of his BHIM CONCERT will be out of the capital city.

The 2019 edition of the Bhim Concert will take place at the Alhaji Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in the Northern Regional capital town of Tamale on 21st December with the BHIM Nation headlining and his friends passing through as support acts. To the die-hard BHIM Natives who will be going to Tamale for this event, SAFE JOURNEY!

10. DECEMBER 2 REMEMBER 2019

Citi FM’s annual music concerts hosted at the International Conference Centre comes back again this year. Come enjoy hits from your favorite Ghanaian musicians back to back. The dress code is still blue denim and a white top.

The event which usually takes place at the Accra International Centre on 24th December is yet to announce performers for this year’s event.
