2012 High School Honors, and the winners are…

The second edition of the High School Honors was held last weekend with several Senior High School leavers picking up various awards. They included individuals who went the extra mile while in school in different areas of endeavor like dance, music, sports, etc. The ceremony saw dance performances from groups like Heroes, Pipeline, 4Bent, and many others amidst thunderous applause. Singer Anajo Black serenaded the entire place with his silky and smooth delivery while the audience responded admiringly. Vodafone Icons winners Black ‘n’ also hit the stage, while rapper, X.O Senavoe thrilled the crowd with captivating lyrics. Great performances also came from Lil Shaker and Joey B as the dished out all their hit tracks and their jovial nature excited the crowd. The event also captured memories of high school life from stars like Yvonne Nelson, Nikki Samonas, Deborah Vanessa, Mandy Jay,J Town, Caroline etc. The awards which were in the form of crystal plagues went to deserving nominees who had gained the highest votes from the public via sms. The MCs for the show were Barbara Gyasi and EbenBarima who displayed eloquence. The event ended successfully as the audience interacted and exchanged pleasantries.
