Fidelity Bank Ghana has debunked allegations made by TikTok content creator Frema Shows.

Frema Shows claimed that the ruling party, NPP, took a loan of 5 million Ghana cedis from Fidelity Bank, causing significant financial losses that could lead to the bank’s collapse. She advised Fidelity customers to withdraw their money, causing panic among some customers.

In response, Fidelity Bank Ghana issued a statement categorically denying these claims, describing them as entirely false, misguided, and without merit.

“We categorically state that the assertions made in the video are entirely false, misguided, and without merit. We urge the discerning public and our valued customers to disregard this video and treat it with the contempt it deserves,” Fidelity Bank Ghana stated in the press release.
