2013 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards setting up new VGMA Board
The VGMA Board is currently being set up and will be made up of music industry personalities representing the various sectors of the industry. The Board will be responsible for categorising and collating the entries submitted as well as shortlisting the final list of nominees for each category. They contribute 50% of the votes scoring for the industry awards categories and 30% for the public awards categories. Past members of the VGMA board have included Abraham Ohene Djan, Hammer, Bessa Simons, Pauline Oduro, Obuor, Diana Hopeson, Fred Kyei Mensah, Sammy Forson, Amandzeba and Mark Okraku Mantey. Meanwhile, the nominations are ongoing so all musicians with releases last year are being encouraged to submit their entries to Charterhouse. Submission of entries end on 31st January, 2013. The VGMA is sponsored by Vodafone. ]]>
