24 hrs later, Wode Maya yet to comment on his hacked YouTube channel
It’s been exactly 24hrs since fans of popular YouTuber, Wode Maya, noticed that his over 1million subscriber channel had been hacked.
The news of his hacked account came in late afternoon, Thursday, February 23.
A google search on his over 1million subscribers channel revealed that it had been taken over by a hacker called “Microstrategy.”
The channel has been changed to “Microstrategy” and has been streaming a fundraiser and live session about cryptocurrency, spearheaded by Michael J. Saylor, an American entrepreneur and business executive.

Michalel Saylor is the executive chairman and a co-founder of MicroStrategy, a company that provides business intelligence, mobile software, and cloud-based services. Saylor served as MicroStrategy’s chief executive officer from 1989 to 2022.
All of Wode Maya’s videos had been deleted from the channel, leaving it blank.

Despite the popular sympathy and support for Wode Maya, he’s yet to comment on the matter.
His followers are however, praying fervently for the channel to be restored.
Wode Maya, born Berthold Kobby Winkler Ackon is one of the most influential Ghanaian YouTubers.
The 32-year-old’s YouTube vlogs promoting the African Continent have made such a huge impact in people’s lives.
