Kwami Sefa Kayi wins Best Radio and TV Personality for second year running

rtp 7Peace FM’s Kwami Sefa Kayi was voted as Radio and Television Personality of the Year for the second year running. The award was presented at the Globa Radio and Television Personality Awards ceremony held on Saturday night at the Dome of the Accra International Conference Centre.   The night which saw performances from legendary Ghanaian musician, Kojo Antwi; Irene Logan, Efya, Asem and others saw TV3 bagging the most honours in the TV categories and Peace FM topping the radio categories. The event was under the theme: ‘Media for Peace for Election 2012’. Ugandan journalist and host of Straight Talk Africa on Voice of America (VOA), Shaka Ssali also received a special award for his contribution to development in Africa via his platform.
