Television broadcaster, and general manager of GHone TV, Nana Aba Anamoah, has alleged that some health personnel, presumably in Ghana, are charging an amount of GH₵ 500 to fraudulently change covid-19 positive test results to negative.

The president of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, in his 22nd address to the nation on measures taken against the spread of covid-19, urged the Ghanaian populace to adhere to the safety protocols in the fight against the pandemic, since there’s a rise in active cases in Ghana.

After his address, there have been discussions on social media on why the sudden rise in number of active cases in Ghana.

Nana Aba Anamoah, in a reply to a tweet on his page, alleged that some health personnel charge patients 500 cedis to change their covid-19 positive test results to negative.

“Sister, some of our people are charging 500 cedis to change a positive result to negative,” she tweeted.
