The internet fell in love with this story when American YouTuber, Malibu Darby got her happily-ever-after moments after meeting the love of her life at a friend’s wedding.
According to a tweet she shared with her followers, the two attended the same ceremony back in 2015 and did not know each other before that. After enjoying the colourful event, it was time for the bride and groom to turn and throw their bouquet and garter to people who had lined up in the back.

“Five years ago today some stranger caught the garter and I caught the bouquet. Now he is my husband,” Darby narrated.
Months later, the two started dating and after three blissful years, they got engaged. According to Darby, her engagement was simple but still special. Her hubby popped the question at her workplace and it was all unexpected.
“If it happened in a public place like a restaurant or park then I would have known he wanted to ask me to marry him,” she narrated in an old YouTube video.
On September 21, 2019, the two tied the knot in a colourful wedding and proved that patience pays. They spent their honeymoon in Jamaica.
