Famed Nigerian rapper and music record executive, Olamide Gbenga Adedeji, simply known as Olamide, has disclosed why he couldn’t sign his colleague singer, Omah Lay to his YBNL Nation label after listening to his (Omah) songs.

According to the Chief Executive Officer of YBNL Nation Record Label, he wanted to sign Omah Lay to his label in the early days of his career, but the ‘’Soso’’ hitmaker informed him (Olamide) that he already had a contract with another label.

In an exclusive interview with British-Nigerian media personality, Adesope Olajide, the ‘Jara on Top’ hitmaker explained that “Somebody sent me Omah Lay’s song, ‘Bad Influence,’ I had to like search for him on Instagram. I messaged him that I wanted to sign him, but he told me that he got a (recording) deal already.”
