Adding splendour and colour to the launch will be the presence of Queenmothers from the Kumasi metropolis and adjoining communities. According to organisers of the reality show, what makes this year’s contest a must-watch event is the huge traditional blend and its new hosts — Dr Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey, aka Abeiku Santana of Okay FM, and Kezia Ashong, an actress, who have promised to spice up the programme with some magnificent traditional flavour. Speaking to The Mirror, Abeiku Santana said Ghanaians were yet to see his knowledge on the different traditions and cultures of Ghana. “Ghanaians must not only know their traditions but they must also have a clear understanding of the origins of their cultures and traditions. Miss Ashong, with her charming voice and attractive personality, reiterated her commitment to thrill viewers and help the contestants exhibit their knowledge of the cultures and traditions of Ghana through their beauty.
