Award-winning Ghanaian singer and songwriter, Martin King Arthur, professionally known as Kofi Kinaata has recently attributed much of his musical success to the mentorship and support he received from Samini’s High Grade Family.

In an exclusive interview with Radio XYZ, the ‘Effiekuma love’ hitmaker expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the group, especially its founder, renowned artiste Samini.

According to Kinaata, during his struggles to establish himself in the music industry, Samini recognized his potential and provided invaluable mentorship and backing. He further acknowledged Samini’s generosity in offering him platforms to showcase his talents, even when he doubted himself.
The Highlife crooner to a greater extent made known that his association with the High Grade Family not only expanded his audience but also facilitated collaborations and performances that solidified his position in the music scene.
Kinaata also likened Samini’s mentorship to the support an artiste like Sarkodie provides to a protege, emphasizing the seamless transition of fans from Samini to himself.
He believes that without their support, he might not have attained the level of success he enjoys today.
“When I was signed, Samini’s fans became my fans automatically. When Samini was performing he gave me opportunities to prove myself and I didn’t disappoint. It’s just like Sarkodie signing an artiste, the artiste automatically gets the support of his fanbase,” he said.
