Long before he started charming ladies all over the world with his good looks and swag, American actor, Hosea Chanchez was a little boy just like everyone else.  The actor recently shared his childhood pictures with fans on Twitter and even at that young age, it was clear that he was a charmer.  Wearing a white shirt and smart bowtie, the young Hosea was full of smiles for the camera!

Chanchez has appeared in various guest roles on ‘For Your Love’, ‘The Guardian’, ‘Jack & Bobby’, NCIS, and Everwood. But it was his portrayal of quarterback Malik El Debarge Wright on BET’s hit sitcom, The Game that brought him crossover recognition.  The Game which was cancelled in 2009 after 3 seasons returned to BET with season 4, and already fans are loving it.

From 2006 to 2009, he appeared on the CW television series The Game. Chanchez portrayed opposite Wendy Raquel Robinson (who portrayed his mother and sports agent). The series is returning to the air on BET on January 11th, 2011.

Born in Montgomery, Alabama, Chanchez spent most of his childhood in Alabama and Atlanta, Georgia. He studied theatre in high school and headed to Hollywood.  He also has a theatre background with roles in Shop Life, The Wiz, The Long Walk Home, Royal Oats and Glory.
