Akumaa Mama Zimbi Reveals She Has 6 Kids With 11 Grandchildren After 30 years Of Marriage

Renowned Ghanaian Media personality and relationship expert, Dr. Joyce Akumaa Dongotey-Padi, popularly known as Akumaa Mama Zimbi, has hared the story behind how she met her husband, who she has spent over three decades with.

European Union awards Erasmus+ scholarships to 60 Ghanaian students for further studies in Europe.

According to Mama Zimbi, her father was the one who introduced her to her husband as they were both members of a Krobo Asssociation. She revealed that there was nothing like love at first sight when she first met her husband, adding that it was never her plan or interest as a Krobo lady to marry her tribesman.

Akumaa further divulged that with time, she learned to like and fall in love with  her husband, stressing that  that their union has stood the test of time and has endured so many years.

”My father and husband were both members of the Krobo association, and it was through that that my father introduced him to me. I had to become a member of the group as a result, and over time, we fell in love and got married,” she noted.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with  Afia Amankwaah Tamakloe on  Adom TV’s M’ashayse3, the media personality,  made known that she has never regretted marrying her husband stating they have been married for over 30 years with six children; four beautiful daughters and two sons.

When asked if her husband has any problems with her line of work, she said that her husband has been a strong support system.
