Akwaboah loses dad, Akwaboah Snr.
Award-winning Ghanaian highlife singer, Akwaboah Jnr, has lost his dad, Kwadwo Akwaboah Snr.
The “Posti Me” hitmaker shared the news via his Instagram on Tuesday, May 16.
“RIP Daddy” he captioned a photo of his dad with crying emojis.
The cause of his death is yet to be known.
Before his untimely death, Kwadwo Akwaboah was a talented pianist and singer. Although he had lost the use of his sight, he still played the piano beautifully, and was very proud of his son, Akwaboah Jnr’s exploits.
Ghanaians will forever remember the duo’s remix of “Awerekyekyere.”
